Why does the arc blow on a welding joint?
The required current decreases as the gap size increases. If the gap is too narrow, it is not unusual to push so hard on the electrode that a 5/32 (4.0mm) electrode will bend. Sometimes, because of magnetic conditions the arc will tend to push to one side of the joint. This is called arc blow. There are two solu- tions to this while welding:See all results for this questionWhich is the indestructible partner in automated TIG welding?Indestructible ! The electrodes used in Tungsten Inert Gas welding, on the other hand, are non-consumable, as they dont meld to form part of the weld. There are several wire types available to fabricators, each with unique arc behaviors, applications, and mechanical properties.See all results for this question

A plasma arc torch has a secondary gas flow that is extremely large during piercing of a workpiece to keep splattered molten metal away from the torch and thereby prevent "double arcing". The secondary flow exits the torch immediately adjacent the transferred plasma arc and is an extremely uniform, swirling flow. A swirl ring is located in the secondary gas flow path at the exit point.Tube Inserts | JET PRESSOur Tube Inserts provide a cost effective, easy application way of solving your problem. With Polysoude TIG and TIG er weld overlay/cladding, the main advantages of the TIG Cold and Hot Wire technology compared to other processes are the operation in all positions, the excellent surface quality, the clean result without spatter zero defect. Developed by Polysoude in 2013, the TIG er bi-cathode weld overlay technology is based on the TIG process and is designed to guarantee tube inserts from jet press Argon arc weldingOrbital welding for space program applicationsFor a typical spacecraft, the propulsion system's tubing requires more than 300 welds. The spacecraft and launch vehicles use a variety of tubing, mainly made of stainless steel and titanium materials, with wall thicknesses varying from as thin as 0.0016 to 0.090 inch and diameters ranging from to 1-½ inches. Because some of the material used for the tubing is thin and thus is difficult to weld consistently by hand, the facility uses automatic orbital welding. This process helps to make consistently uniform wSee more on thefabricator tube inserts from jet press Argon arc weldingEstimated Reading Time: 8 minsOrbital Welding Power Source Model I-Orbital 4000 tube inserts from jet press Argon arc weldingOrbital Welding Power Source Model I-Orbital 4000 iOrbital 4000 welding powersource is designed and manufactured with advanced technology by Kunshan Huaheng Welding Co., Lid. How does gas metal arc welding ( GMAW ) work?
Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) process is an arc welding process which joins metals together by heating them with an electric arc which is established between a consumable electrode (wire) and the work piece. An externally supplied gas or gas mixture acts to shield the arc and molten weld pool.See all results for this questionHighest Rated Welding Consumables Reviewed - Our top Consumable electrodes in arc welding do not only conduct the current but also melts to supply filler metal to fuse the joint.
